My son who works at my brother's A/V company sent me this picture and asked me what I thought. I replied "Wow!" He responded "you like it?" My answer "I made it."
This was a little dome I made for a client back in 2005. It's only about 3" deep. It's a goofy oval. The remodeler cut out a hole and gave me the pattern so it is not a true oval. The faux finisher painted the clouds but only from one angle so it doesn't really look like you are looking up at the sky. Sometimes I don't have control of of everything.
Here is another view of the ceiling we completed in Houston earlier this year. This really is an exquisite medallion. I think it could work in a variety of homes. Hand laid medallions have a very different look than plaster medallions. Each have their place of course.
Below are some things I found on the internet that I think are just stunning.
As our vacation here at Kiawah wraps up we took family photos last night at the beach. Here's my family. Unfortunately we are missing the three oldest, who couldn't make it.
Have a great day!
