It has been an exciting year for Ashworth Design. We have had so many fun and exciting projects this year. We have met so many new and wonderful people. Thank you for the opportunities we have been given.
We are now off till January 5th but we are looking forward to the new projects that lay ahead. From Houston all the the way up to New England we have projects in various stages of progression.
It has been awhile since I reported on the Port Arthur Savings Bank. All the plaster has been restored and the painting crew is hard at work.
The ceiling medallion has been installed and is awaiting its special coat of paint.
The large 6' by 6' piece has also been cast and installed. We had to cut it into 5 sections in order to get it up and installed. It was too big for our crew to be able to install in one piece.
Meanwhile on the other end of the room the other large piece is receiving its coat of paint.
Other enrichments are also being painted.
The murals are being restored and preparations are being made to begin working on the other murals that remain and replicate those which have been lost.
As we prepare to ring the new year in we have a lot of exciting ideas and projects we hope to bring to fruition. One thing we are excited about is adding a CNC router and a 3D printer to our business. After a year of research I think we have decided in the best direction to add more technology and creativity to our abilities.
We also have some new ideas we have new been kicking around and hope to introduce some new concepts and products as the year progresses.
As we pause on this Christmas Eve to celebrate the Christmas Holiday I hope we may all reflect on our blessings and of course the true reason we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We wish you all the best and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous new year.
